James Kiger is a self-taught artist inspired by the natural beauty of Southern Oregon, where he has lived his entire life. It is by combining his intrest in welding and his love of nature that he creates whimsical and charming critters for the home and garden that have a unique and timeless appeal.He continues to be inspired by the people who have fallen in love with his work and the stories that have come back to him of the homes that each of his unique pieces have found their way into. These animals and insects look amazing both indoors and out, in unexpected places within the home as well as adding a touch of magic to both gardens and patios.Each stone is carefully selected and laid out prior to being welded into an array of different poses. The result is not two pieces being identical and an individual flair that gives each creation its own unique personality. James creates his works of art from his home, deep amidst the mountains of Southern Oregon. He continues to find new and unexpected ways to bring his artistic talents to life.
